Still manufactured in Thiers France, Thiers Issard has been manufacturing fine razors for over 100 years. Today, their razors combine classic craftsmanship with modern design resulting in razors that look as great as they perform.This 6/8 unique and beautiful hand decorated Thiers Issard razor features a Historic c135 Carbonsong carbon steel half hollow ground blade with a detailed etch, satin blade faces with mirror polished spine and tang, engraved spine and a round tip and lower jimping. The razor scales are made from stainless steel which has been etched with a hand done \"Twig\" design. The razor comes in a high quality leather sheaf and paperboard box. NOTE: As the etched decorations on these razors are executed by hand, each razor\'s appearance will vary slightly from that shown.

In our experience, Thiers Issard razors usually come well honed right from the factory, possibly ready for shaving. As such, we will ship these razors with the factory edge for those clients who would choose to use the factory edge or hone themselves. However, if desired we will happily hone them to our high standards upon request, at no additional charge.
