These lanterns are lights for God. It is also called “\"miakashi\". Since the Edo period (1603-1867), lanterns with the inscription “献燈” (offering lantern) have been hung at the entrance of the homes of entertainers and craftsmen.The Japanese name is written on the back.This item is in very good condition but has a small hole.On the side of the text, there is a design of two doves facing each other, and on the opposite side, there is a red design of a thunder pattern, which is a representative family crest used in shrines. Additionally, there is a yellow rope drawn around the top, from which white decorations resembling thunder are drawn.This is one of Japan\'s unique symbols, used in sacred places such as shrines. It signifies a sacred place, purity, and the repelling of evil.  It can be displayed as is, of course, but it is also beautiful when used with LED candles or other items inside. It can be enjoyed immediately.
