Natural grade A icy translucent Wuji Jadeite crescent moon shaped pendant and beaded necklace with sterling silver accent and closure. It features a beautiful crescent-shaped jadeite with stunning openwork engraving. The carving and engraving on this piece are done by hand with intricate details and retro floral design. The material has icy translucent clarity, incredibly fine, clean and smooth texture that looks jelly-like, and exceptional luster. Wuji refers to black marbling found in jadeite material. Unlike mineral inclusion, Wuji marbling is desirable and often compared to black and white Chinese traditional watercolor painting due to its picturesque patterns. It is also said to possess protective energy. This is a large sized pendant. Please refer to photos for size and measurements. The chain is made of petite sized jadeite round beads with matching material and quality as the pendant. Although the beads are small, they have super icy and fine quality and the beads even have glows. There are sterling silver beads in the necklace as accent. The closure is a \"M\" hook closure also in sterling silver. The necklace is about 28\" in length with 1\" extension. At the end of the extension, there is a beautiful natural icy white jadeite carved cherry blossom charm. All jadeite used in this necklace is 100% natural jadeite and untreated.
