HOT ! Designer Vintage 1980s Silk Satin High-Low Gown with Bow Waist

This vintage 1980s silk satin gown references 1950s designs, giving classic Audrey Hepburn with so many sophisticated details— from the shelf bust, to the oversized bow detail, and the high-low tulip hem that reveals a pop up pink from the contrasting lining. It is amazingly well constructed, of silk satin. The bodice is incredibly fitted, with boned details and cups formed around the chest like a corset. The shelf bust has an over-layer that sits away from the actual line of the bust, for an elegant, avant-garde look. The tulip shape of the skirt, as well as the high-low hemline, not only reveals that unexpected pop up pink, but it also gives an opportunity to subtly show a little leg— and an amazing shoe! It made in the USA by designed Frank Massandrea, who New York-based label known for bridal and evening looks; it was purchased from Saks Fifth Avenue and features the retailer\'s tag as well as the designer\'s. No fiber contents are listed but it feels like silk satin.

Great vintage condition. There is some minor wear to the pink lining at them, but because of the placement it is not noticeable when worn; the dress presents absolutely beautifully.
