Reminiscent of an authentic antique garment crafted with the lost art of time, patience and attentive hands, our stunning new Joni Dress arrives in her first rendition, designed to celebrate the joys of the season. A lavishly effortless silhouette of majestic ruffles and deep, cozy pockets, Joni has been adorned with the precious handcrafted lace remnants of a lovingly passed-down collection and paired with the very last of a gorgeous sable black cotton sourced from our favourite local sewing store, allowing us to create a limited edition of nine heirloom pieces. Made for celebrations and special occasions, and to be hung on the wall for the moments in between, the Joni Dress is a testament to thoughtful design and the enduring beauty of slow-crafted care.

A relaxed silhouette with a loosely gathered empire waistline, three-quarter length elasticated sleeves and a midi-length ruffled hemline styles beautifully with tights and heeled booties or vintage strappy sandals.

Exquisite heirloom detailing includes hand-stitched antique lace across the bodice and ruffle as well as a custom-dyed floral button closure in the back. 

Deep pockets and a light, deadstock cotton provide a comfortable silhouette made to be worn with ease.

Sustainably cut and sewn in a limited edition of nine locally sewn pieces.

Materials 

100% antique lace and deadstock cotton from the ends of the roll.

Care

Dry clean or machine wash with care on cold. Hang to dry. Steam or iron on low as needed.
