HOT ! Gabriella Tea Dress Larkspur White

Gabriella is a soft, feminine, and super flattering 1930s-inspired tea length dress, crafted in a beautiful printed Italian silk crepe and lined in silk too.

The Floral Larkspur placement design was developed from an original artwork by British botanical artist Nay Bellamy, created in collaboration with Suzannah. Inspiration began with Suzannah’s visit to the Chelsea Flower Show last summer, where she fell in love with lupine and larkspur, and was later reignited when she discovered a striking still setting of the same flowers on Nay Bellamy’s Instagram. The two creatives worked together to transform the moment into a painting designed to translate beautifully onto textiles.

The artwork was printed onto Suzannah’s signature silk crepe de chine on a fresh white base, using their trusted silk mill in Italy, and expertly engineered into a placement print for a beautiful tea dress — a truly elegant piece of wearable art. The  Gabriella dress itself has elegant and flattering proportions with smocking at the empire and cuffs, capturing the 1930s original inspiration. The skirt is bias cut, falling to a long midi length, and the sleeves are 3/4 length. 

The dress is lined in Italian silk habotai from empire to hemline, and features an invisible centre back zip for step-in ease.

This dress can easily be styled with stylish flats and straw boaters for daytime wear, or with stunning millinery and heels for special events.
