Variable Speed at 1000 CFM — Sizing the Air Change Rate

At 1000 CFM with 8\' ceilings, the Aero1000V handles containment zones of approximately 1,100–1,400 sq ft at the air changes per hour specified by IICRC S520 for Class 2 and Class 3 mold contamination. Variable speed control allows the operator to run at reduced CFM in smaller rooms within that containment envelope, preventing over-pressurization of lightweight poly barriers while still achieving the required ACH. At 5.5 amps, two units fit easily on a 15-amp circuit while staying below the 80% NEC continuous load threshold.

Aero1000V vs. 9145 MAG — Same Housing, Different Motor

The Aero1000V and 9145 MAG share the same 18\" × 20\" × 31\" housing, 16×16\" filter stack, and AMCA-rated blower platform. The 9145 MAG uses a fixed two-speed 1.0 HP motor (625/425 CFM) and minihelic instrumentation. The Aero1000V uses a variable-speed 1/2 HP motor for continuous adjustment up to 1000 CFM. Choose the 9145 MAG when a fixed two-speed control with gauge monitoring is preferred; choose the Aero1000V when continuous variable adjustment is needed for precise containment pressure management.
