Detailed information on Colombia - Edward Sandoval Estate Gesha (Washed)

Limited Single-Estate Farm Release

Micro-Roasted to Order | NET WT 12 OZ (340 G)

This Gesha from Edward Sandoval’s Finca Canta Ranas in Santa Isabel, Tolima is a refined single-estate expression of Colombia’s high-elevation Gesha potential, evaluated at 91.5 points for its clarity, floral lift, and balanced sweetness. Grown at elevation and carefully processed, it reflects the precision and intent behind Sandoval’s approach to rare varietals.

Washed and dried under controlled conditions, this Excelso-grade Gesha presents a delicate, aromatic cup with tea-like structure and layered fruit expression. Jasmine and honeysuckle lead at lighter development, supported by honeyed sweetness, while medium roasts reveal star fruit, apple cider, lemon, and mango green tea. The finish is clean, composed, and lingering, highlighting Gesha’s hallmark elegance without excess.

The Farmer Details

Sourced from Edward Sandoval’s Finca Canta Ranas in Santa Isabel, Tolima, Colombia—a small 6-hectare farm planted up to 1,900 m above sea level. Edward, a trained Q Grader and former FNC technician, carefully manages rare varietals including Gesha, Chiroso, Wush Wush, and Moka. Each process batch is fermented in tile tanks and carefully dried under cover on patios, producing fruit-forward coffees with clarity, sweetness, and complexity.
