About bodhi tree wood

Bodhi seeds are usually used without being polished so they have small ridges or veins. It is believed that while Prince Siddhartha was sitting under a bodhi tree meditating, he reached enlightenment and became Buddha. Bodhi seeds are believed to lead to peace and wisdom.

In Japan, Buddhists use Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.

Maintenance

Take off when you shower and before going to bed. The material is sensitive to chemicals and excessive sweat. We recommend you to take it off when doing sports and cleaning. Wipe with soft fabric.
