Old door casing, window casing and beams are salvaged and then de-nailed , and the paint scrubbed off to bring alive the authenticity of the beautiful timber which has been natural seasoned. We studied how old wooden Sampan Boats were made and took inspiration from the last few sampan boat makers in the Riau Islands. This solid wood table is made using minium glue, finished with cold pressed oil and made with the theory of disassembly. Tomorrow this wooden top can be dissembled and will anoerbically disintegrate. Healthy for the soil and healthy for you and your family.. a good option against all the adhesives and the formedlyde laden materials. Enjoy your dinner in peace.
