Gilt bronze. Just over 7/8 (0.93”) in width. Low rounded section of exaggerated form with the cusp curved and nubbed quarter points. Central motif of a heart within raised borders. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored on an 18” gilt sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
