As with all our jewellery, this handmade mouse necklace is available in both sterling silver, or gold, in a range of carats (9 or 18ct), and colours (yellow, rose, and white). Our mouse charm necklace is intended to look as lifelike as possible, to remind us that mice have feelings too. Did you know that their nervous systems are incredibly similar to our own? They experience pain, fear, loneliness, and joy, just like us. Male mice woo their mates with high-pitched love songs, and baby rats even giggle when they are tickled.

Despite all we have in common, mice remain the most experimented on animal in the world. They are subjected to toxicology tests, painful burn experiments, electroshocks and even psychological experiments. Unthinkable, especially considering many technologically advanced non-animal test methods can now be used in place of animal testing. This is why Jana Reinhardt has chosen to support PETA and other animal rights advocates in their fight against animal cruelty.
