This is a vintage Elgin DuraPower mechanical wristwatch dated from 1947. It is a manual-wind watch powered by an original Elgin Watch Co. mechanical movement, caliber grade 554 with 15 jewels, small-seconds and four adjustments. It operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour with an approximate 38-hour power reserve. Made in United States.

It has a very nice gold-tone dial with printed Arabic numerals, stick hour markers, \"railroad\" minute track and complement with blue steel matching hands. The small-second hand is located at 6 o\'clock.

Cased in a 26mm square case with elegant and fancy lugs design, crafted in 10K yellow gold filled. It features a polished finish and paired with a black brand-new two-piece leather strap. This Elgin DuraPower wristwatch presents well with signs of honest aging. Fully inspected and authenticated. Running and wearable.
