This is a George Nelson full-sized headboard, produced by Herman Miller in the USA. It retains its circular medallion label, which dates the piece to the 1950s, more specifically circa 1958. The piece was specified in Walnut. While it is incredibly simple in form, the design allows for the walnut’s grain to be appreciated.
This headboard measures 1.5 inches thick, 54.5 inches wide, and 31 inches tall. The wood has been freshly cleaned. There are slight scratches on the corners and edges. The metal screws show some patina. Overall, this piece is in very good to excellent vintage condition with light wear. Please see photos.
