Mardale Dining Table - Solid Leg

Handcrafted out of the most beautiful unfinished reclaimed Elm timbers from Qing-dynasty architecture. An unadorned top rests upon two wide planks, the timeworn wood revealing its rustic character in one-of-a-kind nicks and knots. Carefully hand-selected timbers are perfectly imperfect in appearance, with small knots and cracks commonly associated with elm. Historic weather means our handcrafted dining tables may be patched, and the grain may be open. The grain, colour, and texture of each table are subtly different, making each one totally unique.

• Unfinished wood is accented with distinctive nicks, wood patches, exposed knots and imperfections that enhance the beauty and uniqueness of each piece


• By their nature, unfinished wood planks may be somewhat uneven and may cup, bow slightly, or develop additional cracks over time, further enhancing their rustic one-of-a-kind character.


• This item is artisan crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike.


• A high-quality, clear furniture wax has been applied to protect the finish from minor spills. To maintain the finish, we recommend using a similar high-quality furniture wax as directed. Note that slight variations in colour may result; test on an inconspicuous area first.


• Assembly of the legs is required upon delivery. This takes approx 10mins and will require the help of 1 or 2 extra persons.
